One foot at a time!

Hey y'all, I know it's been a while, sorry. Well recently I was under the impression that I had mastered the act of walking in my adolescence, and I was very very wrong and sadly mistaken. I went to step off the our handicap ramp at work and twisted my ankle. I called and reported it to my boss and she told me to go home and that I'd have to get it looked at tomorrow, if it got worse I was to call her right away. I went home and dad helped me put an ace bandage around it, get ice to put on it. I went to bed and when I got up the next morning it looked as if I had a softball on each side of my ankle, and I could barely walk. I called my boss and she had me call Kriss, our HR person at work. She made me an appointment. I had to be there at 3. I got there and had to wait almost 2 hours til they saw me. They took x-rays. It was broken. The doctor actually asked how I even walked it, me being a smart ass said one foot at a time. They put me in an air cast that I can take off every night for showers and sleeping. He asked if I wanted any time off and I said no. Since I had all day Tuesday off. He then told me I should use crutches for a few days and I more or less told him where he could stick those damn crutches. He was going to write me a script for pain and I told me no, because I can't take that and work, so he told me to take all the Ibuprofen I wanted. He told me I gotta wear this cast for two weeks and I got my next appointment on the 30th. I finally got out of there about 6 pm. Turned in my paperwork to Annetter and I drove to Scott. I ate with mom and dad at Pizza Hut. Dad is glad to be back at work. They're putting a pipeline in that goes from Texas to like Montana and my mom is going to rent out the lower lot to some of the workers so they can have a place to put some mobile homes so the workers can sleep and eat. Mom said we should get like 3000 or so for it. They're only gonna be there for like a month. Work, other then being an idiot that can't walk, is going really well. My boss, Barb, had our weekly personal meeting, about how things are going. She also wanted to know how much I'm learning about each client. I told her that I really liked Norma, the other staff, but she does everything on mondays and tuesday
I think I'll end with a funny story tongiht. Wednesday is was raining very heavily at work, I'm talking down pour rains!I was in Bryan's place and I saw Dustian standing in the doorway of his place. I yelled at him to leave the door open that I was coming over. I started out and when I got to Doroty's place I saw him look over and shut the door. Since I couldn't run very good I hobbled over as good as I could and as quickly as I could too. I got to the door and went to open it and it was locked. I also found out that there's a golf ball size hole in the guttering over their door. By the time I got the right key and got inside I was drenched from head to toe. Both Rick and Dustian each had a drink and a blanket on their laps. Rick looked up at me and asked "Is is raining?" Both of them laughed at me, and dustian let me borrow his blanket to heat myself up cause I was cold, and Rick was washing all the towels in the place.

Weekend

This weekend my friend Josh came out to visit. We went to the zoo, a movie, Monument Rocks, quick tour of Scott Lake, my high school and just hung out. I hope he had fun. He kept taking pictures of me, and I don't like me pictures taken. I did change me hair, and redid my nails. I really like my hair. My nails are nice, but the lady that did them didn't trim them so they are super long, and they're kinda dirty looking, but that's my fault not hers. My toes look great!

Mom and dad will be back tomorrow night. I hope they had a good trip!

My boss changed my shift schedule. I'm happy that I now work Wednesday through Sunday 3 to 11 everyday, but I'm working at a lot of different places. I know it shouldn't matter where I work at, but there's this one client that I'm just not sure if, even with all my skills, I can work with her. Plus I haven't ever met her, so that might be different. But by the end of next month I can apply for the tuition reimbursement. $1000 a year! I know I want to get my CNA first, and then my CMA. So if I can get $1000 for the rest of this year, and $1000 for next year, that would be awesome. I really love the medical field and hope that I can continue to grow in it.

I saw a former class mate of mine, Andy. He looked really good! I always had a thing for him. I wasn't allowed to date til I was 18 and I thought about telling him just how much I liked him or something on our class trip. But I was too nervous, and scared, but we did get share a very nice Hawaiian sunset, and I helped make his fake ID and sneak him into the gentleman's club that was across the street from our hotel. After all, the girls that usually caught his eyes don't look anything like me. And he's a little too short for me too. But wow, he did look really good. He was the bad boy of my class, and the school.

One of the gals I work with, Norma. Said that her and I should go out to the bars and stuff. She said he'd take me as long as I doll myself up. I don't normally, I think the last night I went out was with Dan and I wore holey faded jeans over my gym shorts, sleeveless t shirt, and I french braided me hair right outside the bar. We left the gym and went to eat at Hooters, and then went to Club Rodeo. I know I can look good if I just put some effort into myself, but I really don't care either. I never have cared what people thought about me, but I'm my own worst critic too. Maybe if we go out I can meet a new guy! Well here's to wishful thinking!

Freedom!!!

OK things have been going pretty well lately. My dad goes back to work next week, if he passes the doctors check up. Mom is still on my back about money, but again I talked with dad and it's my money and the bills are getting paid so, she's calmed down a bit. But the parents went to North Dakota today and I'm happy to be away from them for a few days.
Josh will be here Thursday! I can't wait, it should be fun. Here's what I got planned!
Friday: going to Garden, lunch at the zoo, catch a movie or two, dinner at El Conquistador, home, back a better then sex cake, watch some movies at home
Saturday: go see the Monument Rocks, both of them, visit Steele home, Big Springs, Soldiers fort, El Quartilo, go to town and eat lunch at the Chinese place, and idk from there
I'm really happy, it'll be nice to have a friendly face around. I'm still going to go to Wichita soon to visit! I gotta get outta the sticks.
My friend Kelli from college sent me a text today. She's gonna have a baby!! I'm not supposed to say what sex it is, but I'm so so so so so so so happy for here and her and her husband Justin. She went to doctor cause she'd been having some pain and turns out she was pregnant and is due next month, if not sooner! I went up and talked and caught up with her this evening for a few hours. I told her that I help her in any way that I could, and if she needs anything to just text or call!

Update!

OK, just to shut some people up and quick their bitching! lol jk! I kow I haven't posted in a while, and I'm sorry but I've been busy!
Things are going very good with my job! Today I had a meeting with Debbie our executive director. It was a meeting to see how the job was going, what I liked and don't liked, etc. I told her everything was great, liked my supervisor and the company. Told her my wanting to get tuition help for school, and all that. I also told her that I'd like to branch out and have more of a DSM role, so that I can better use some of my talents and I told her I was so happy that they have a company at Winfield and that I'd like to someday transfer to that location.
I got my first big check not long ago and mom is on her power trip. I finally sat down with dad and told him that all my bills are getting paid, and it's my money so I should be able to use the money as I choose. He agreed and talked to mom. Mom later that night apologized.
Also, the painter started on the house! BRIGHT YELLOW AND WHITE!! You can see it clearly now! I actually drove past it the first time I saw it. It looks very nice. Since mom bought so much paint the painters are going to paint some of our sheds too. Same yellow and white! Dad also wants to start on the porch next. I don't know if he's going to do it or hire someone. I told him it would be easier to hire someone. But who knows!
The best news of all, well two things really. First, my real brother from Texas is going to be her this weekend with his family. Grandpa's birthday party is this weekend and they will be traveling with mom and dad to Heizer for the event. I'm staying home cause I gotta work. It will be very nice to see them again, I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving 2007. They want to go swimming at the lake one day. I told them I'd go but I don't have a suit so maybe I can go and tan on the dock or something. After all an extra set of eyes, especially with the kids, wouldn't hurt. Second, my best friend Josh is coming to see me the very next weekend, when mom and dad are going to North Dakota to see my other brother Jason and his family. I'm excited cause I haven't seen him since I left in April. I think I know somethings we can do. Since he's never been out here in the sticks. We can go to see the soldiers fort, El Quartillo Indian site, Steele Home, Big Springs, plus there's so pretty good walking trails out here. We can go to the Garden City Zoo, and hang out in Garden too. I hope the weather is decent for both trip so that everyone can travel safely. I know lots of photos will be taken of both and I'll try to post them to my myspace and facebook accounts.
