Merry Christmas!

Well I didn't know if I would have another chance to take the time to wish everyone that I know a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday. And if I don't post before January. Happy New Year, and see you all soon in 2009!

Here's a quick update on my life.
Scott went to the doctor the other day. The doctor told him to stay home, so he did on Wednesday. She also told him he should have come in to see her at lest a week a week prior to then, it was that bad. I didn't want to say it, but I did tell him to go in, so yeah I told him so, lol! He's feeling much better. He's back to more of his normal self, and he's got his appetite back! Just in time for my mommas Christmas Eve dinner, and His mother, Ann's, Christmas Day lunch! I'm sure both will be great. I'm really looking forward to Dinner with my family. My brother Leon will be here on Saturday, and staying for a week. I haven't seen him or his family since Thanksgiving 2007. It will be so nice having them home. My brother always told me that he was sad that he's never met any of my previous boyfriends. I told him when I found one that I thought was special enough for him to meet he definitely would. I think I found that someone with Scott. My brother, Leon, has always been protective over me, so I'm exciting to have him meet Scott. Leon and I are really close. Growing up in the country kinda made us bond better. There wasn't anyone else our age to play with and being in the country we didn't have any other options. He was almost always there to talk to, and we helped get each other out of trouble. He's my best friend in the whole world, and I love him very much!
My sister came to see Dad and Mom tonight. I was invited to dinner, but I declined the offer. My sister was extremely rude to my mother and brother so I told her I would rather not see her at this point, because I didn't want an argument to break out over the holidays. And she takes everything so hard anyway, sometimes it's better talking to a wall! Well here's what happened leading up to that. A few weeks ago, after Thanksgiving, she called my mom and asked how Thanksgiving was, and of course mom said great and they went to Texas. Helen, my sister, then asked what they were doing for Christmas and mom said Leon and his family was coming up here. Helen yelled at my mother that it was unfair that mom and dad spend two holidays with the same sibling. Mom replied that it was Leon's choice, and if they hadn't come up then her and dad would probably have gone up to North Dakota to see Jason and his family, since Patty, Jason wife, will be so close to giving birth and wouldn't be able to travel. Helen got mad and hung up on my mother. She then later called dad at work and told him, which he told mom and she told me crying on the phone, that she refused to share my dad with any other siblings because that would take attention away from her and her family. My dad told her he was sorry, but plans had already been made, but the invite for the holiday was always there. I actually can believe that my sister is that selfish, that she wouldn't allow anyone else to share our father. I hate to say this because she's my sister and I do love her, but she's such a bitch. If it's not her way, it's no body's way. It's sad, but I hope she's happy in her life, and can one day grow up and act like the older sibling instead of acting worse then my newborn nephew, her son.
Well getting off that, My Mosaic Christmas party is this Saturday at 6 pm. I'm exciting. Scott and I are going together. It lasts until 11 pm, but that's only because there's supposed to be a mini casino there too. I'm not much for gambling why waste money you don't have. But dinner and spending time with Scott should be very fun, I'm looking forward to it. And at the Henderson house, I work at with Mosaic, we're doing a secret Santa gift exchange on Sunday at 3pm. I got Mayra. I got her a stocking filled with Hershey Kisses, a couple peppermint candles, a small Santa snow globe, and a reindeer, and I put the stocking in a reindeer gift bag. See I try to tie things together, e.g. reindeer in a reindeer bag! Wink Wink!! I kinda feel bad. We each wrote down this that we like, and things we don't like, but as I was shopping all I could remember was that she liked make up, which I couldn't find any that I liked, and that she liked candles. I figure most people like chocolate, and stuffed animals so I went with that. I hope she likes it, and after all it's the thought that counts right! lol!
Of I almost forgot, we had our Christmas pot luck dinner at the bowling alley last Wednesday too. We also brought gifts, five dollars or less, and the first person to get a strike got first pick of the gifts. I rarely if ever get strikes, but I'm good at spares. So I didn't get my strike until the third game, in the seventh frame. And to answer the question I'm sure you all are thinking, NO! I wasn't the last one, I was next to last! HA HA HA! lol! We don't bowl again for two weeks, after New Years!
