Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm not going to make this very long, and it's basically everything the title indicated. I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! And to give a brief list of what I'm thankful for, and update on my life. Please me travel safely, remember the tradition of the holiday, and remember to pray for all of our soldiers that can't be with families and friends while serving in foreign countries this holiday! God Bless!

I'm thankful for:
My loving faith in God!
Family, A loving home, that when I so much needed them, were there without judgement. It's so great to know that the help is always there, even when you never ask. Mom, Dad, Leon, Misty, Austen, Andrew, Adam, Jason, Patty, Landon, Grandpa Partridge, Grandma Smith, Helen, Justin, Destiny, Jacob, Daniel, and all the aunts, uncles, and cousins. I love you all. There's no me without Family!
A man that loves me so dearly, Scott! I wish you all to find the kinda love that we have, cause it's amazing!
Friends, who truly help make me a better person each and everyday. Joshua, Josh, Rion, Jason, Jesse, Susan, Kaylinda, Kelli, Sara, Lisa, Bonnie, Ben, Tyler, Jeremy, Don, Dave, Chandra, Jeff, Max, Micheal, Monty, Paul, Robert, Sean, Joseph Robert, and any others I forgot.
A nice job, that pays my bills, and a car, that hopefully will last me til next summer when I can buy a brand new one.
And my wonderful dog Lucy! I love her, and am so glad that I brought her back home with me.

Update:
Things really haven't changed much since the last blog post!
I'm still dating Scott! We had a pot luck dinner tonight at the bowling alley, we normally get a quick bite to eat before we go and snack at once we are there, but it was a nice change. I made bbq meat balls. I shouldn't have gone to the bathroom when I had. I came out and the line was so long. By the time I had gotten to the good stuff most of everything was gone. Scott brought a Subway party tray and all the sandwiches were gone when I got there, and there was only three of my meat balls left. I'm glad I made extra and kept them at the house, or I'd really have been upset. My meatballs are so sweet and delicious! But all the food was good, and I got more then my share. Trish, SCott's sister, made these little smokies wrapped in bacon and they were really good! I didn't bowl every good tonight though. My stomach was hurting a little, but I found some Advil and it helped a lot!
Today, Scott and I are going to Ann's, his mother's, house about lunch time. I'm working right now, but I told him I'd like to sleep in until at least 11 am, if at all possible. I'm sure there's not going to be a shortage of food. After all Thanksgiving is the number one holiday that leftovers rule! I do have to work later tonight, so maybe I can get some tripdafin (spelling totally off) in me from the turkey and get a nap this evening before heading back to work. That'd be nice. He said he would tape the parade on TV for me, I'm such a kid. I love watching the parades! And of course Santa is at the very end. Tomorrow is black Friday in all the stores! I'm praying that I don't need to go anywhere near any stores tomorrow! Too busy, and too crazy!
Speaking of work, I did go on my interview. Kris told me a lot of positive things about my resume, but they're just looking for someone with more expertise. I knew going in that's what was lacking, but like I told mom, at least they see that I have an interest in other areas of the field, and that I'm willing to try to achieve those goals. But Kris did tell me to look into another job position in the company. It's basically the same position I work now, but I'd be more of my direct bosses personal assistant. I'd work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and get anywhere from 36-40 hours a week. And I could work the other days for exactly what I'm making now, kinda liek having two jobs are the same company. I told her I would think about it, but it would be a pay raise as well, and it'd be one step up from were I am now. My boss has been in Utah, and I need to talk to her anyway, but we'll see if she thinks I'd be right for the position. Lori, my direct boss, would be the decision maker on the position anyway.
Mom and dad are doing well. They left the other day to drive to Texas to be with Leon and his family. They'll be back Sunday I think. I took Lucy to Scott's. I thought she'd like to eat, have clean water, and restroom rights while they were gone. I think Lucy loves the attention that Charlie and Mugen, Scott's dogs, give her. She's never really been around other dogs, so I'm sure she's loving it. She'll probably be pretty bored when she has to go back. Our neighbor, Robert, has two dogs, King and Cookie. But they don't really ever play with Lucy.
See, not quiet a book this time! God Bless, again!

Live from Scott

Well I couldn't sleep tonight so I decided what better time then the present to write a new blog.
I got the results from my biopsy from two weeks ago. Tests show that I am in Stage three. My doctor did tell me that with most patients, when they get the biopsy done. Their bodies go into recovery mode to repair and replace the tissues that were cut out. I am hopeful that that is what is happening to me. I go back in 6 months to get another biopsy. Hopefully the stage will be smaller. I remember the day of the biopsy the preliminary finds indicated stage three, but the samples still needed positive proof. I told Scott, and he gave me a big hug and started to cry, which made me cry too. He's such a wonderful man. I'm very lucky to have him in my life. He took me to dinner, Arby's, and to a movie, Saw V. I told my dad and he was like why a scary movie, but anyone that knows me knows I love horror, thriller, and scary movies. So it was a perfect choice.
Speaking of Scott. He's doing very well. The subway that he manages over is getting remodeled, they're adding a drive thru. He's really excited, but he's going to lose his office, and some dry storage space to make room for the change. But he can hire more people to work too. Which hopefully will make his job a little easier. He hasn't had a full day off in over three weeks! I don't know how he does it, but I can relate being a former manager. Those days I didn't care if I got a hundred phone calls, as long as no one called in. I know he'd like to go fishing before the lake freezes over, and he'd love to go with my dad. Dad would use any excuse to go, so it would be prefect. He's only met my parents the once, when he drove me to get my moms van when my car broke down, and that was for only about 5 minutes. But I did met his mother, and step- father. His nephew Auston, had a birthday party. It was a pirate theme. It was a lot of fun, but wow lots of screaming kids! I'm so glad now to have not gotten any further in my elementary education major, I think nursing is a perfect fit. I have been a little under the weather lately though. I was sick and had to go the hospital. My tonsils were so inflamed they were cutting off my airway. I went to ER, and they actually knocked me out and had to put a tube down my throat so I could breathe. They also gave me some penicillin. They gave me more penicillin and some pills after I woke up. It helped a little, but Monday I went back to the doctor, my doctor in Scott City, and she couldn't really find a reason for the inflamed tonsils, but put me on some steroids and pain killers, and something strong for the inflammation. It's working a lot better! I was so afraid of getting people sick, like Scott, those party kids, and co workers and clients. I did get a leave of absence for four days from the ER doctor, but I had to work Sunday, and my co worker called in sick so I had to work all night by myself being as sick as I was. I wrote in our daily ledger that I was still sick so I'm sorry if the individuals get sick. I had actually wanted to call in that night, but I have actually have zero PTO time remaining, so if I get any sicker, or call in, or anything I can't cover it! Hopefully I won't have to to that. I gotta save as much time as I can, I'm going to stay a week in Texas, when Misty and Leon go in to have the fourth child. It will either be the end of March or early April. That just me guessing though. They haven't set the date yet. That's the great thing about getting a C-section, you get to pick exactly what day you want the child born on, and what time too! I think if I ever have children that's what I would highly consider! Sorry going through the pain and self- torture of natural child birth isn't for me. I'm sorry, not all the drugs in the world could kill all that pain!
Wow do I get off subject! lol! Scott convinced me to join his bowling league. Yes, I suck. But I guess any points are better then the no points they were getting. Scott's sister, Trish, and Brother in law, Jeremiah, are also on the league. Jeremiah is amazing! Well actually they all are really good, but compared to me a I'm sure a second grader could bowl better. But it's fun, and it's very light exercise, and it gets me out meeting new and more people. There's one chick there that bowls has, more piercings then I do, and her hair is brown with blonde highlights on the bottom, and pink highlights on the top. It looks awesome on her, but not something I would ever do. She's very nice!
Now speaking of work. There's an HR Specialist position open at work, Annette's old job. She had to take FMLA. She's has a very bad illness, and I can't think of it right now, but it causes her extreme amounts of pain. She's such a sweet, caring woman. You hate to see that happen to such wonderful people. But the job is Monday - Friday working 8 to 5. It's a pay grade 4, I'm at a pay grade 2 now. I love Lori as my supervisor, but as I've told Scott and some others. I love being in the field working hands on, but don't wish to be doing that forever. I never pictured myself as someone that could sit behind a desk and answer the phone and type memos, until I had to do it being an ex-supervisor, and I loved it! If I get this job, I'm going to definitely quitting Walmart. I want to quit now. I actually haven't been to work there in almost a week with the sickness and everything else. I only work like 16 hours a week anyway, WOW not really losing that much. But I will have to buy some new office clothes too, maybe I can wait until after I get the new clothes to quit, so I can get my discount. lol! Naw, more then likely I would go to Target, Sears, or Pennys to buy nice office clothes.
Mom and dad are doing just fine. Uncle Larry, Grandpa P., and a family friend, with is two sons, are coming out the first weekend of December to go deer and pheasant hunting. I'm staying at Scott for sure that weekend. Mom and dad are going to Texas to see Leon, Misty, Austen, Andrew, and Adam for Thanksgiving. Scott agreed to let Lucy stay at his house while they are gone, and I'm staying there too!
Well I believe the next book has been written, I'm still not very tired, but I need to lay down and try to get some rest.
