To Joshua
I am very upset with you, sir! You were the one that was worried when I moved out here that I wouldn't try to keep in contact with you. I think I've done a damn good job of doing that exact thing. I considered you my best friend! I was wanting to talk to you more then any other of my friends on my birthday! Even your own sister, whom I've never met, even sent me a wall post of a happy birthday, have a good day. At least people didn't forget my birthday this year. Last year even my own parents forgot it. I even had a friend, Ben, he had to have surgery on the fifth to get some kidney stones removed called me to say happy birthday before the surgery. As far as the phone, you always have phone troubles. I can live with you not being able to call me or text me. What bothers me is that you're on facebook nearly everyday and yet you can't even slip in a simple hello sorry my phone is acting up, will try to call or text you when I can. And my numbers are both listed on my profile page under info and contact information, or Rion has them too. You haven't even been keeping in touch with Rion. Every time I would talk to him he'd give me the same I don't know, he hasn't talked to me either. I talk to Rion nearly everyday now, because all my other Wichita friends have either forgotten about me or are too busy to talk. I have no friends here! I work all the time, and now have two jobs now. I go to work from 11p to 7a at Mosaic and 3:30p to 5:30p for the YMCA and sleep all the time, then if I'm not too tired I go out and eat with Scott for dinner and then try to catch a quick nap before going back to work. And try to get enough strength to bowling on Wednesdays from 6:30p to 9p. I'd love to get some more friends, but I don't have any time. I hate working nights, I hate working at Mosaic with all the recent changes that have been going on. I've been sending my resume out o different people in hopes that someone else will hire me so I can leave this place. Oh guess what, my cancer is spreading, and I have to have surgery sometime at the end of this month or beginning of next to have a total hysterectomy. After this surgery I will never be able to have children, ever! I'm very sorry to hear that you've lost your job, I'm sure you will find another one shortly! I pray that you will.

New Business!
I've been doing ok. My stomach has been cramping really bad lately. My doctor is putting me on some new pain medication. They seem to be working, but they hurt my kindeys to take them cause the medication is so strong.I don't take them everyday, but when the pain is unbearable. I go back to the doctor in may, so hopefully something good will come out of this then.
Well we have two new additions to our little town! An A&W drive in, and an IHOP. I'm so excited! Hotdogs at one, and pancake at the other. I know to all you big city folks it's not that important, but here it is. We rarely get new anything, so two big name restaurants in the same month is awesome.
Scott and I are doing really well. I'd been looking to get my own bowling ball, shoes and bag since I'm not a bowler. He got them all for me for my birthday that is next month. It surprised me, he's so sweet. I don't know what I'm gonna do for him for Valentine's Day. It's gotta be something extra special since what he did for me. It's funny to have him do all this for me, I've always been a do it on my own or by myself kinda girl. I'm not sure if I will ever get used to it, but it's still nice.
Work is going well too. They've been on lock down with the overtime. I've been getting exactly my 40 a week. I guess I shouldn't be complaining, but the overtime helps a lot. But some others aren't even getting the 40 either. But I have sent my resumes out to a few people, and I have an interview for a day care supervisor position tomorrow at 1pm. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, it's just a part time thing, but it'd be nice to have. Besides I love children. It's mostly an after school thing.
Mom and dad are doing good. Mom has joined weight watchers and she's lost over 25 pounds already! GO MOMMA!! She looks great! Dad is doing well. He tore a tendon in his left calf. It's all black and blue. Doctor told him to take a few days off, stay off of it, keep it wrapped, blah blah blah. Which he isn't doing any of that! I keep telling him he's an old man and it's going to take time to heal, but he doesn't want to hear that either. He goes back next week for another MRI.
Jason, my brother, and his wife, Patty. Had their second child, Cadien. He's super cute. Looks just like my brother did as a child but with darker hair. Jason was a blonde baby. Leon, my brother, and his wife, Misty, should have their child at the end of March or early April. I'm still planning on going down to help with the other three boys while they are in the hospital, if I can get off work, and can afford to go too.
Well I think that's it for this chapter, sorry for the delay and taking so long. I'll try to get another one sometime soon!

Merry Christmas!
Well I didn't know if I would have another chance to take the time to wish everyone that I know a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday. And if I don't post before January. Happy New Year, and see you all soon in 2009!
Here's a quick update on my life.
Scott went to the doctor the other day. The doctor told him to stay home, so he did on Wednesday. She also told him he should have come in to see her at lest a week a week prior to then, it was that bad. I didn't want to say it, but I did tell him to go in, so yeah I told him so, lol! He's feeling much better. He's back to more of his normal self, and he's got his appetite back! Just in time for my mommas Christmas Eve dinner, and His mother, Ann's, Christmas Day lunch! I'm sure both will be great. I'm really looking forward to Dinner with my family. My brother Leon will be here on Saturday, and staying for a week. I haven't seen him or his family since Thanksgiving 2007. It will be so nice having them home. My brother always told me that he was sad that he's never met any of my previous boyfriends. I told him when I found one that I thought was special enough for him to meet he definitely would. I think I found that someone with Scott. My brother, Leon, has always been protective over me, so I'm exciting to have him meet Scott. Leon and I are really close. Growing up in the country kinda made us bond better. There wasn't anyone else our age to play with and being in the country we didn't have any other options. He was almost always there to talk to, and we helped get each other out of trouble. He's my best friend in the whole world, and I love him very much!
My sister came to see Dad and Mom tonight. I was invited to dinner, but I declined the offer. My sister was extremely rude to my mother and brother so I told her I would rather not see her at this point, because I didn't want an argument to break out over the holidays. And she takes everything so hard anyway, sometimes it's better talking to a wall! Well here's what happened leading up to that. A few weeks ago, after Thanksgiving, she called my mom and asked how Thanksgiving was, and of course mom said great and they went to Texas. Helen, my sister, then asked what they were doing for Christmas and mom said Leon and his family was coming up here. Helen yelled at my mother that it was unfair that mom and dad spend two holidays with the same sibling. Mom replied that it was Leon's choice, and if they hadn't come up then her and dad would probably have gone up to North Dakota to see Jason and his family, since Patty, Jason wife, will be so close to giving birth and wouldn't be able to travel. Helen got mad and hung up on my mother. She then later called dad at work and told him, which he told mom and she told me crying on the phone, that she refused to share my dad with any other siblings because that would take attention away from her and her family. My dad told her he was sorry, but plans had already been made, but the invite for the holiday was always there. I actually can believe that my sister is that selfish, that she wouldn't allow anyone else to share our father. I hate to say this because she's my sister and I do love her, but she's such a bitch. If it's not her way, it's no body's way. It's sad, but I hope she's happy in her life, and can one day grow up and act like the older sibling instead of acting worse then my newborn nephew, her son.
Well getting off that, My Mosaic Christmas party is this Saturday at 6 pm. I'm exciting. Scott and I are going together. It lasts until 11 pm, but that's only because there's supposed to be a mini casino there too. I'm not much for gambling why waste money you don't have. But dinner and spending time with Scott should be very fun, I'm looking forward to it. And at the Henderson house, I work at with Mosaic, we're doing a secret Santa gift exchange on Sunday at 3pm. I got Mayra. I got her a stocking filled with Hershey Kisses, a couple peppermint candles, a small Santa snow globe, and a reindeer, and I put the stocking in a reindeer gift bag. See I try to tie things together, e.g. reindeer in a reindeer bag! Wink Wink!! I kinda feel bad. We each wrote down this that we like, and things we don't like, but as I was shopping all I could remember was that she liked make up, which I couldn't find any that I liked, and that she liked candles. I figure most people like chocolate, and stuffed animals so I went with that. I hope she likes it, and after all it's the thought that counts right! lol!
Of I almost forgot, we had our Christmas pot luck dinner at the bowling alley last Wednesday too. We also brought gifts, five dollars or less, and the first person to get a strike got first pick of the gifts. I rarely if ever get strikes, but I'm good at spares. So I didn't get my strike until the third game, in the seventh frame. And to answer the question I'm sure you all are thinking, NO! I wasn't the last one, I was next to last! HA HA HA! lol! We don't bowl again for two weeks, after New Years!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Well it's been really cold here. Scott's been sick here lately, and I feel bad. He'll ask me what's wrong, knowing my profession, and I tell him what I think and he ignores it and then I tell him to go to a doctor and now he's compromised with me to go on Tuesday, if he doesn't feel better. I'm thinking he's probably not going to go, unless I drag him there. And I may have to try.
Yesterday was Scott's grandmas' birthday. Her name is Helen. I don't remember how old she turned. I'm thinking 82, I remember seeing an 8 on the cake. It was a nice party. I met a lot of Scott's family. Of course I don't remember any of their names, too many people. Scott got his grandma a card that played the theme to Star Wars. I got her just a basic happy birthday card, and wished her happiness.
Today is Trish's son's birthday, Trish is Scott's sister. His name is JJ. He's going to be two. Scott bought him some building blocks, and a card. I got him a card too.
I'm super excited that Christmas is almost here! I love all the lights, classic tv shows and movies, the holiday merriment and spirit, presents, family, friends, and the gathering for Christmas dinner. My brother Leon and his family will be here from Texas. And Misty, Leon's wife, has also invited her folks to come up too. I don't remember their names, I think her dad is named Jim but I could be wrong, probably am. I think Scott and I will got for a lunch with my family, and spend the early morning, and evening with his family. I still have to work, no rest in health care, but I don't mind. Most of everyone will be gone, so it'll be easy work.
Speaking of work, I turned in my request for the DSS. I'm waiting for Tina to get back so I can get an interveiw and possibly get the position. I hope I get it.
Mom and dad are doing well. Mom has joined weight watchers, and she's lost 15 pounds so far! Go momma!
And before I forget, Happy Birthday Joshua! His phone was dropped in water so I didn't get to tell him, but I hope you had a great day and that your birthday wishes come true!

Is it Spring yet?
Well things have been going very well. Mom and dad got back from Texas. Mom told me that whenever dad would cuss Adam, Leon's youngest son, would look at him and go "Grandpa, No No!" Of course mom and I laughed at hearing this. I got new school pictures from all three boys! They're so cute! I don't know how my brother managed to have such great, cute, wonderful children. I'm very excited to see them all for Christmas when they come out. I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving 2007. My brother Jason had called and was wanting me to come up to see him for Christmas, but North Dakota in December! lol! No! COLD!! I don't do well in this cold weather. I love the spring and fall. Not too hot, not too cold. I'd love to go up to visit Jason but, I remember going up for there wedding and it was so beautiful, but I also remember getting so sick!! Patty, Jason's wife, will be too far along in her pregnancy to travel anywhere, Maybe next summer I can go up and see them. Who knows. Mom has also talked with Helen. She was disappointed that they, or I, didn't come down to see them for Thanksgiving, and was wanting mom and dad, or I, to come down for Christmas, but we've already made the plans for Leon and his family to come here, so mom offered the invite to them, and Helen said she would think about it. Mom said she didn't sound too happy! Helen has always been very hard to please. Destiny, Helen's daughter, turned 11 on December 1st. I sent her a card and $20. I figured it was better then nothing.
Mom and I went to buy some new Christmas decorations the other day, and Tuesday night Scott and I went out to the house for dinner, and to put up the new and some old decorations. She bought a new tree, it's a pre-lit multi-colored tree that is 6.5 feet tall. It looks very night. We didn't finish, Scott has inventory every Tuesday at 9pm, so we went back for that. I'll go out hopefully this weekend, or maybe Tuesday on my day off sometime to finish. Scott also bought a little two foot free, pre-lit with white lights, and bought some little blue bulbs to put on it. He also went crazy with some sno in a can. It was a shock to look in the bathroom mirror and no see anything but white! Oh, men and their simple humor. He also put it on his car windows. I told him if he put any on my car he was buying the car wash! There wasn't any on there though.
I haven't bought really any of my Christmas presents yet! I'm usually so good at buying them so early. I've kinda been slacking a little I guess. I'll get them done, but I don't know when. I don't have any clue what to get Scott, if y'all got any suggestions, let me know!
Uncle Larry, Grandpa P, and Jay and his son, Austin, came out to the house and stayed with mom and dad. They went deer and pheasant hunting. Mom called today and said that dad shot a 14 point buck and a doe. Mom still needs to get her buck for the season, but maybe she'll get it this weekend before the hunters leave. It was good to see everybody!
Work is going really well. Last Monday morning, I went to work not feeling well at all. I even threw up twice while there. I had asked my co-worker, Connie, to do the cooking for lunches since I knew that the smell of the food would make me vomit even more then I already had. Well it was was 4am, and lunches weren't done yet. Connie had fallen asleep on the couch, and I tried to wake her, but couldn't. I was so mad that I took her photo, while sleeping, and called my boss and was like she's asleep and hasn't done anything all night. I'm sick and the only main thing I wanted her to do was lunches and it's 4am and they still aren't done. Julie, Henderson house supervisor, came over and caught her sleeping so Connie was wrote up. She's now working morning at the center. I felt so bad for having done what was done, but I didn't know what else to do. If she had fallen asleep and the lunches and everything else was done I wouldn't have cared, but not doing anything is a different story. I'm a night owl and so me staying awake on a 11pm to 7am shift isn't a problem for me. The only thing that really pissed me off that morning is when Julie came over and Connie got caught her first reaction was well Samantha falls asleep too, which I don't. Julie asked if she turn me in and Connie said "No, cause she's sick and I feel sorry for her." That pissed me off. Yes I know that I'm sick and have no immune system so I get sick very easily, but her feeling sorry for me! I'd like to think that I'm a very strong willed person and just because I'm sick doesn't mean that I lose hope and I never want people to feel sorry for me. If I can't do something for myself then I'll ask for help. I hate when some people get sick and they immediately go into the whole I'm helpless, do everything for me mode. It's sad. I feel more sorry for the people that have to help them out, then the person receiving the service. That's what I love about my job. My friend Ben is a great example. He's legally blind, and he's had cerbal parsal since birth. He's in a wheel chair, and yes he does get assistance from Roy, his personal helper, but everything that he can do he does for himself. He's very strong willed and I admire him. He's one of the greatest friend anybody could ask for.
Well I'm at work right now, and I'm abou to get off so I'm gonna say farewell and I'll be back later! Love and God Bless!
